Mechanism

The mechanism is based on physiological reactions occurring in the healthy body and consists in degradation of histamine by the diamine oxidase (DAO) enzyme. 

The excess of histamine (generated by histamine-rich foods, unhealthy microbiota, DAO deficiency) is a major cause of many dysfunctions: intestinal inflammation, leaking gut, eczema, atopic dermatitis,  etc.

Blocking histamine receptors by administration of antihistaminic drugs will not decrease histamine level in the body.

Consumption of certain drugs (e. g. antibiotics, anti-inflammatory agents) inhibits DAO production in the gut contributing to histamine accumulation.

Our products neutralize the excess of histamine acting as “neutra-histaminic” agent, avoiding the danger of side effects of anti-histamine drugs.
